Wheres the beef?? Everyone likes to eat! Cooking is an important skill, for one some higher end foods give you nice buffs. Secondly and I would say most important, keeping up with your cooking skill is a good way to also keep your bags empty!! There is a profit to be had here as well, since many of the buff foods sell well on the auction house.
There are a lot of cooking quests at all different levels. Most are easy and reward you with new recipes so they are worth doing! One such recipe is Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops!
